We have now released a tool that helps you to bulk convert fixed-term lettings to periodic. This is available from the main lettings list: Home -> Lettings -> Lettings.
The tool will bulk tick the "periodic" tick-box on the selected lettings, so they switch to rolling end dates, and optionally set the rent review date on them to the existing fixed-term end date (or 12 months after the start date for shorter terms).
- Filter for fixed-term lettings (i.e. tick the Periodic - No option). Apply any other filters as required. Note - clearing the start date range will include lettings starting after May 1st too.
- Click the "All" tick-box at the top of the list once you have filtered the list:
- Click the "Convert to Periodic for RRA" link:
- The pop-up will confirm how many fixed-term lettings will be converted, and provide the option to set the rent review date. Note - any fixed-term lettings that end by May 1st 2026 (or today if the tool is being run after May 1st) will be excluded from the conversion - those will appear in the Terminating or Expired Tenancies alert, so can be reviewed from there as necessary. If any of those should now be rolling periodic, they can be edited from those alerts as normal.
