As well as individual eSignature tags for known parties (e.g. Vendor or logged on staff member) we have a number of all in one tags to cater for situations where there are multiple people that need to sign - for example if there are joint landlords, multiple tenants and guarantors on a letting.
This article outlines the various options available across the tags and uses the Word format throughout. The same options can be added into the inbuilt system templates but require the options to be added directly into the underlying HTML. If you are using one of these templates please contact support and we will add the tags for you.

Lettings Tags
Numbered Signatures Table
This is typically the main tag to use on Lettings for documents such as ASTs and Deposit Scheme's Prescribed Information. By default it will output Landlords, Tenants, Guarantors and optionally the Agent.
[[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true]]
Additional options:
| customOrder | Tenants-Guarantors-Landlords-Agents | Controls the order that the signatories appear. Can also be used to exclude that group. E.g. if Tenants are omitted from the order, they will not appear in the signing table |
| showGuarantors | true/false | Includes rows for each tenant guarantor |
| includeAgent | true/false | Includes a row for the logged on member of staff generating the document |
| useDesignatedInsteadOfLoggedOnStaff | true/false | Where this is set, the Designated Signer set on your system will sign as the agent, rather than the user who generated the document if this is different |
| includeDesignatedStaff | true/false | Includes a row for the Designated Signer in addition to the user who generated the signer |
| useAgentESignatureAlways | true/false | If set to True, the Agent always signs the document on behalf of the Landlord |
| useLandlordESignatureForService | true/false | If set to True, the Agent will sign the document where the Letting Service is Fully Managed, but the Landlord will sign the document if the Letting Service is Introduction Only |
Commonly used combinations:
| [[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true;useLandlordESignatureForService=true]] | Tag for all tenants and guarantors on a letting to eSign, and then the agent signing on behalf of landlord for managed lets |
| [[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true;useAgentESignatureAlways=true]] | Tag for all tenants and guarantors on a letting to eSign, and then the agent always signing on behalf of landlord |
| [[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true]] | Tag for all tenants and guarantors on a letting to eSign, followed by landlord |
| [[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true;useLandlordESignatureForService=true;showGuarantors=false]] | Tag for all tenants on a letting to eSign, and then the agent signing on behalf of landlord for managed lets. No guarantors |
| [[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true;useAgentESignatureAlways=true;showGuarantors=false]] | Tag for all tenants on a letting to eSign, and then the agent always signing on behalf of landlord. No guarantors |
| [[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true;showGuarantors=false]] | Tag for all tenants on a letting to eSign, followed by landlord. No guarantors |
Numbered Landlord Signatures Table
This is typically the main tag to use on lettings properties for documents such as Agency Agreements. By default it will output all Landlords and the Agent.
[[LettingsPropertyDetailsTags.NumberedLandlordSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true;includeAgent=true]]
Additional options:
| useDesignatedInsteadOfLoggedOnStaff | true/false | Where this is set, the Designated Signer set on your system will sign as the agent, rather than the user who generated the document if this is different |
Sales Tags
Numbered Vendors Signatures Table
This is typically the main tag to use on sales properties for documents such as Agency Agreements. By default it will output all Vendors and the Agent.
[[SalesPropertyDetailsTags.NumberedVendorSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true]]
Additional options:
| useDesignatedInsteadOfLoggedOnStaff | true/false | Where this is set, the Designated Signer set on your system will sign as the agent, rather than the user who generated the document if this is different |
Forming eSign Tags
When adding additional options to a Tag, you should view these as adding individual building blocks. Each block is separated by a semicolon ( ; ). There should be no spaces present in the Tag. You will also need to set whether this option needs to be True or False. Set to True where you want that option to take effect, and False where you do not.
Each block should be added after an initial pipe ( | ) in the Tag.
Example:
In this example, we wish to create an eSign Tag where all Landlords, Agents and Tenants sign, but no Guarantors.
The Tag we need for this is the Numbered Signatures Table tag, which is [[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable]].
The first step is to add the option to create eSignature tags. This is our first building block, so we add this after a pipe. The option needed to generate eSignature tags is generateESignatureTags. As we want this to happen, we need to set this to True, so the Tag would now look like the below:
[[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true]]
As we also wish to hide the Guarantors, we need to use the option to hide them. This is showGuarantors. As we do not want to show them, we set this to False. As we already have another option set, and this is our second building block, we need to add this option after a semicolon, so the Tag would now look like the below:
[[LettingTags.NumberedSignaturesTable|generateESignatureTags=true;showGuarantors=false]]
And that is the tag we require built!
Signable Tags
Signable does also support other forms of input, not just signatures - for example to set a date, enter plain text or tick a box.
These can also be added to templates generated from the system.
More details can be found directly on Signable's Help Centre.
Important Note!
In order for your 10ninety system to recognise your Template as an eSign document, there must be at least one 10ninety eSignature tag present in the template. Please do not use the direct eSignature Tag from Signable for any signatures, rather please use the respective 10ninety eSignature Tag.
