The property information sent to the portals is based both on the information you have added to the Property Details during the creation of the property and the Marketing Details under the Property Menu. Any images, floorplans or room details you include will also be included.
To allow the property to be listed on the portals, all the required fields must be completed. Any that are not will be highlighted in red when you attempt to list the property. Any yellow highlights are optional warnings:
You should then fill in the remaining sections in the Marketing Details where possible:
Full Description
The description of the property, including any room descriptions if these have not been entered under the Rooms page of the Property Menu. This is your main 'write-up' for the property, so this can be as detailed as you wish.
Virtual Tour Link
If you have a virtual tour associated with the property, such as a YouTube video or a 360 virtual tour, you can add the direct link for where the video or tour is stored. This will then show alongside the images on the portal listing.
Utilities
Add the utility types for this property. This falls in line with the Material Information Parts B & C requirement on the portals.
Building Info, Risks & Restrictions
This section notes issues, with the potential impact, on the property. Listings should include this information if it is known to affect the property being advertised. This information will be included in portal feeds and property descriptions if set.
You may then wish to include the following information:
Rooms
If these are setup, these will also be sent to the portals. They will appear underneath the property's full description. Each room will have a bold header, with its dimensions and room description underneath.
Features & Restrictions
These appear as bullet points on the listing in a dedicated "Features" section and can grab an Applicant's eye as they are short and punchy. Including the property's unique selling points and unique features here can help the property stand out among other listings.
Property Brochure
If an active brochure is set against the property, via the Brochures & Window Cards page in the Property Menu, this is also sent to the portals for your potential Applicants to view. Therefore, setting your desired brochure design is essential. The system includes many designs, however if you would prefer, you can upload your own design for the property.
