How do I add Local Authorities to the system?

When you first add a property onto the system the local authority (e.g. Borough, City or Council Councils) dropdown may be blank:

 

 

You can set up the list of local authorities relevant to you under Home > Address Book > Suppliers.  Click on Add and enter the details, making sure that the supplier type is set to 'Local Authority':

 

 

They will then be available to select from the local authority drop down on the property details page. Once this is linked to the property, any subsequent letting that you set up will have the option to email the Move In and Move Out templates to inform the council of new tenant(s) for council tax purposes
