Tracking negotiator commission

The system allows you to keep track of the commission your negotiators have earned on their sales and lets.

Setting the commission per negotiator

Managers have the ability to set the commission % that has been agreed with each negotiator.  NOTE - only managers can see this %.

To set the commission on a member of staff's profile:

  1. Click on the "Admin" tab
  2. Click on the "Staff" side-menu
  3. Click "Edit" against the member of staff in question
  4. In the "Negotiator Commission" section at the end of the form, enter the agreed commission % for their sales and lettings commission:

 

Setting the negotiator on a sale

On the Sale Details page, select the negotiator of the sale.  By default, the commission that the negotiator will receive it that defined on the staff page (as above), but managers can also override it for a given sale:

Setting the negotiator on a let

On the Letting Details page, select the negotiator of the let.  By default, the commission that the negotiator will receive it that defined on the staff page (as above), but managers can also override it for a given let:

Commission will just be applied to the letting fee by default, but it can also be applied to any ad-hoc fee too, by ticking the "Is Eligible for negotiator commission" tickbox on the fee:
