The default when setting up a letting will be periodic meaning that the 'Is Periodic' tick box on the Letting Details page is always ticked. If you need to set up a fixed term for a letting that falls outside the RRA legislation then you can untick the box or get in touch with our Support team to have it unticked as a default.
The system automatically extends out the letting and rent schedule every month.
If a review of the tenant's rent is planned at some point in the future, you can set the "Rent Review" date on the periodic letting, and the letting will then appear in the "Periodic Tenancies with Rent Review Due" two weeks before that date:
