There are two parts to start using the social media package - first an initial setup process to configure the system to post on your behalf, then secondly using the system to post details in order to save you from entering the property details, links and photos manually in your posts.
This is a one off step that you need complete in order to authorise the system to post to twitter and facebook on your behalf. To do this we forward you to specific Twitter and Facebook login pages where you will be asked to enter your details - that way we never know your personal login details, but instead get a special code to use generated by Twitter / Facebook. Step by step instructions below:
a. Twitter setup
i. Go to Marketing > Social Media > Twitter
ii. Click on the orange 'Authorise your twitter account' button
iii. This will take you to a twitter login screen where you can login and authorise 10ninety to post to twitter on your behalf. If you are already logged into twitter on the computer then you will simply be asked to Authorize app for the 10ninety Feed.
iv. You will then be returned to the system by twitter
v. You should then see a Twitter page displaying your latest tweets with some quick links to helpful links and searches below.
b. Facebook and Instagram setup
i. Go to Marketing > Social Media > Facebook
ii. Click on the orange 'Authorise your facebook account' button
iii. This will take you to a facebook login screen where you can login and authorise 10ninety to post to facebook on your behalf and confirm the Instagram account and linked Facebook page you want to post to. Again, if you are already logged into Facebook on the computer you will simply be asked for permission.
iv. You will then be returned to the system by facebook
v. You then need to select the Facebook Page from the list that you have set up
vi. You should then see a Facebook page displaying the latest facebook posts.
NB: If you already have Facebook setup but now want to add Instagram following our latest release you need to do the following.
1. Firstly, make sure the Instagram account is a business account and is linked to your Facebook page that you are a manager of (this is because Instagram only currently allow access to business accounts and we can only access it via the Facebook API).
More info on how to do that here: https://help.instagram.com/570895513091465
2. Click through the following page to re-authorise your Facebook and linked Instagram account - Marketing > Social Media > Instagram > Authorise Instagram via your lined Facebook account. It will prompt you to login to Facebook, select the Instagram account and linked Facebook page, then return you back to your 10ninety system to confirm the page and complete the setup.
Once this one-off setup is completed the system is then able to post details to both social networks.
